I'm ready to start the install of my traxda 3.5" front lift (and 2" rear lift) on my 14' 2500. Looking through the 6.4 monster thread, some guys are putting on adjustable track bars. Is that really needed?

For you guys that have went that route, what do you recommend?

Subscribed......

When I go with a 2" in front I'm planning on an adj track bar just to center axle better.

I just did my RC level and it needs a trac bar. Only one I've found so far is Dodge Offroad. Trying to get in touch with them and see if it'll work.

As mentioned above the track bar is to recenter the front differential under the truck once it's leveled. Otherwise the whole thing will be off to the drivers side by an inch or two. This is all assuming that the kit you bought didn't come with a track bar drop bracket and drop pitman arm like larger lift kits...

BD Diesel makes one of the best adjustable track bars on the market IMO as it's adjustable while installed on the truck so you can get the length exactly right to recenter the diff. Most need to be adjusted before being installed which makes it more of a guess and check thing.

My kit did not come with the Trac bar relocation brackets. It did come with the radius arm drop brackets though. What about the rear? I see several manufacturers make an adjustable track bar for the rear too. Is that needed equally as the front?

I just checked at dodge off-road.com. It looks like the newest adjustable track bar that they sell is for a 2013. And even that one, says that it is only for up to a 3 inch lift.

On the dodge offroad site, look at the 3" lift for the 14-15 trucks. Danny is building trac bats for that kit so I just need to get him to put them separate on his site. And send me one...

I contacted Thuren and they do now have one available for the 14-15 2500's even though it's not listed on their site. According to the email response it's $375 and they have about a 2 week lead time.

^^^^ did you need that for your lift?

My lift came with relocation brackets but isn't enough. Tires stick out about 1/2" further on drivers side Front and rear. I'm going to buy a front and rear adjustable soon.

Does he have front and rear available for a 14?

I emailed Dodge Offroad about the adjustable track bars. They responded and said that it's not currently available for sale separately. He said that it should be within a couple of weeks though. He also said the price will be $299 for the front!

I do believe that "Danny" was the person to respond to my email. He said that he will keep my email and notify me when it's available. That's awesome! Stuff like that will absolutely sway my business to him!

Yea, they're a small company, he's a great guy that's really grown a business out of nothing. He has lots of my money... And he makes some really cool stuff.

Dodge Offroad said that they will be releasing one for the rear at the same time as the front.

Still no email from dodge off-road. Which is the better route to take-- adjustable track bar or tracker bar drop bracket and drop pitman arm?

Only need the drop pitman arm once the trac bar and steering link don't match angles anymore. Usually after 4" or so

Just a little update---- Dodge Off-road still hasn't gotten back with me so I ussume he still hasn't released the front adj track bar.

I live 25 minutes away from BDS suspension and visited them this week. They have the adj front track bar for our trucks. It is adjustable when installed on the truck. Total price with tax was $350 and it was in stock. BDS won the race with me!!! They said it works from stock height up to 5.5" of lift
