FastSdime's Build Thread!

Figured I should start a build thread. My truck isn't as nice as a lot of the trucks on here. But it's mine and I've built it and turned almost every wrench on it. Have a lot of plans for the truck. I will one day buy a 3rd gen for a daily and turn this one into my project truck... ONE DAY!

My Gorgeous Dash

Left the truck alone for a long while. First mod was tinting corner lights and third brakelight and threw foglights on the bumper.










Where my switches are mounted (holes where there already and bugged me)

Then I put LED Panels in the dome and map lights. And made the overhead console display red.





One of my map lights is out due to the switch is broke.

Ok I have to ask what did you use to make the overhead display red? I want to make my odometer blue since its about the only thing green left on my interior just haven't figured out how I'm going to do it yet.

Then found a set of 3rd Gen 20s for $400 with almost new tires.

In that picture. I actually ripped apart some 3D glasses that came with a movie my daughter got and those are in front of it. I then bought a red tint that is pretty thick kinda like a seethru folder that had a adhesive on it like tint thats on there now. I still need to do my gauges but waiting till I upgrade to LED lighting there. (which I just ordered)

My favorite thing I have done to my truck so far is the sport headlights.

High Beams with the Silverstars that where in my stock lights. (they are now wired on a relay so both the low and high beam comes on together like a stock sport)

Then I got CREE reverse lights due to the 20% on top of the factory tint!

Got tired of the spotty silver on the bottom of my truck. So since I paint on the side for people that I should just paint the truck. Well I don't make money painting my own truck. So I bought about 6 cans of Plasidip...

Thanks guys. I've been a diehard Chevy guy my entire life. But the day my father inlaw brought home a 96 all black Ram I fell in love and had to have one. I will never sell these truck. I'm still a old Chevy fan but I'm now a diehard Dodge guy.

Thats funny because before my Ram I originally had a 95 s-10 that hauled ass.

I should have LED for the dash lights coming here in the next couple of days.

So I put my foglights on. I think I have them on the wrong side tho. Because with the driverside adjusted all the way down it still shines pretty high. Where the passenger side is adjust dead center and is still lower then the one on the driverside. Or it might just be that I didn't trim out enough of the plastic... But I'm happy with them for now. Not bad for $0.00

I ran these projector fogs on my '00 Ram. The problem is quality control.
I had to remove the light from the bracket to shave the bracket down enough to get the light to aim down enough.
Just cheap design. (It was my driver side too)
