Yup. I plan to put in the opt7 Flux beam leds as everyone says they fit inside the quad headlights with the cover on. Should be adequate lighting.

So even though it's been 20 degrees outside and snowed last night, i managed to get a few parts installed that have been delivered.

Lol... told you the list was long. I included future stuff I want, which I could order it all right now but I've already spent over $2k and I've only owned the truck 8 days. I did the same thing with my 06 when I got it and look what happened with that truck, I only had it 3 months/3k miles and it fell apart and I traded it in.

So I got my lights from The Retro Shop delivered today....




On Friday I ordered the Opt-7 FluxBeam-X H11's for the low beams for my new lights from TRS. I've gotta wait for the Opt-7 LED's to get here before I install my retrofits because I'm not taking my headlights off multiple times in a couple day period if I don't have to.




I got a text just a few minutes ago from Tyler over at Clazzio.com. He is embroidering my headrests right now and sent me a picture of a test sew and told me to pick which one I liked better...



I chose the top (upside down) one because I feel like the bottom one just has too much white stitching. It's too thick of a border, you can barely see the red in the / and it's almost more white than red. Anyways, here's the picture he sent me...




Also got my RAM 1500 Blacked Out Door Emblems today aswell....



So now my Red & Black "HEMI 5.7 LITER" fender badges, my Red "R/T" grille badge and my Blacked Out "RAM 1500" Door emblems are all delivered. I'm going to take off the old ones tomorrow and put these on, except for the R/T badge for the grille. That one will have to wait until I put in my new retrofit quads because it requires taking the grille off.

Anyways, most of my stuff has been delivered, I'm just waiting on the Clazzio Leather Seat Covers, which Tyler said should be shipping out later today once the embroidery is done. The DT-Moto black Textured/Riveted Fender Flares and the Opt-7 FluxBeam-X LED Bulbs.

There might be something else in there I'm forgetting that I ordered, I guess it will be a Christmas suprise!!!

I opened up one of my headlight boxes from The Retro Shop to check them out.

I don't even know when I'm going to get to put in these lights because I have to wait for my Opt7 LED FluxBeam-X H11's to get delivered before I put these in. I just don't want to put them in and then have to take them back out once the LED's get here.

So yesterday my DT Moto Fender Flares got delivered. So I got to work on installing them.

Here are some pictures:

For only costing $148 compared to Bushwackers for $500+ and other "name brands" for $300+, I think these look great. Fitment is a 9/10, so far the Quality is a 10/10 and looks is a 10/10.

Installing them took ALOT longer then I expected them to take. I had to put on the rubber weather stripping seal myself. That took a long time. Screwing in all the bolts on them took along time aswell, but I think it was well worth the time it took.

BTW, I now have a full set of OEM/Mopar Mud Flaps for sale. Very good condition. Check the "For Sale" forum in the next 24 hours for them.

Today I installed my Custom Built Black Housing Quads from JJ at RetroShop.us.

These got delivered on Tuesday, but I was waiting to install them because I had also ordered a pair of Opt-7 H11 FluxBeam-X LED Bulbs. I ordered the bulbs straight from www.Opt-7.com And the website listed them as "In-stock, Ready To Ship". I placed my order on 12/16 and on 12/19 I got an email (from Opt-7) saying that the bulbs had been shipped via USPS, with a tracking number included. So I checked the tracking right away and it said that the shipper had notified USPS to expect a package to be delivered to me, but that USPS had not recieved the package yet.

So I check the tracking number again about 24hrs after the first time I looked and it still says the same thing, USPS got notice of a package to be shipped but they haven't recieved it yet. So I email Opt-7 and ask them what's going on because this is supposed to be a Christmas present and I need it by 12/25 (the date of this email was 12/20).

So another 24hrs goes by, still the same notice on the USPS site and no email from Opt-7. It's now 12/21, 5 days after my order and no shipping info and no communications from Opt-7 customer service. I email them again, this time I'm angry. It's been 5 days since my order, USPS still does not have my package and nobody from Opt-7 will answer my emails.

So jump forward to today, 12/22. 6 days after my initial order and 3 days since Opt-7 sent me an email saying the bulbs had shipped. USPS still says no package recieved. Finally someone from Opt-7 emails me and says "Sorry for the inconvenience but we are receiving a higher than normal amount of orders due to the holidays. Your item is not in stock and is on back order. We expect them to be back in stock as early as next week."

So I wrote back flipping out. When I ordered the led lights the site said "In-stock and Ready To Ship" for the H11 bulbs. If you look at the site, any bulb type not in stock, says so and also the "Add To Cart" button disappears and you literally can't even order them. So if the H11 bulbs are out of stock, how was I able to even order them and why did you send me an email saying they had shipped and why did you notify USPS to expect a package to be delivered to me???

At this point I'm completely fed up with Opt-7 and their customer service. It's some of the worst I have ever seen. If you cant even fulfill the orders you've already accepted, why would you continue to accept more orders? It doesn't even make sense how I was even able to order the H11 type if they were out of stock, because like i said earlier, the Web site physically won't let you order out of stock items.

Whatever, so with that going on, I decided it's probably going to be early to mid January by the time I get my Opt7 LED Bulbs so I decided I wasn't waiting that long to install my new headlights.

Just another little update... so I ended up meeting up with the member on here, Disturbed, who lives about 10 minutes from me, to buy a 09+ Center Console w/o the shifter.

The consoles silver side-pieces had a nasty gash/scratch in it that was visually unappealing. While texting him about the console, he randomly happened to mention that he does Vinyl work professionally. I asked him if he could vinyl wrap the silver areas for me to covet up the marks and asked how much more he wanted for the console after he vinyl wrapped it. He was nice enough to do it for free and said not to worry about paying anything extra for vinyl wrapping it!!

I think the console came out great and Disturbed is a fantastic member to purchase from. Not only did he vinyl wrap this for free, ths price of the console was great and he was awesome enough to also give me roughly 5ftx3ft of matching black vinyl!! I asked him how much he wanted for it but he insisted on just giving it to me for free.

So since I ended up trading for the 20" Chrome Clads a few days ago, i realized my Pocket Style/Bolts Fender Flares just look goofy and out of place with all that extra space and width of the flare. My ATX wheels stuck out and filled up the fenders and flares and the chrome clads are tucked into the wheel wells which makes the flares look really stupid, at least the rear flares had all kinds of extra room. They looked and fit great with the offset of the ATX Wheels but these 20" chrome clads make the flares look dumb and out of place.

I was already planning on meeting Disturbed today to buy the center console but while late night browsing the For Sale section; I randomly came across his For Sale Thread for his OEM Fender Flares and they just so happened to already be painted PR4 Flame Red!!! I had just put my pocket style flares for sale on craigslist last night and just started looking for oem style flares. The coincidence that he was selling them in my paint code is crazy!!

So I texted Disturbed and asked him if he still had them. He said yes and asked if I was selling mine. I told him why I was selling mine and asked if he wanted to trade; my pocket flares for his oem flares and he said yea.

So long story short, Ram Forums member Disturbed is a stand up guy! Everything was exactly as he described and he even gave me a huge piece of vinyl and wrapped part of the console, both for free. I will definitely deal with him in the future shall he have anything for sale that im looking to buy.

The OEM PR4 Fender Flares should look great on my truck with the chrome clads!! Can't wait until it's warmer outside so I can put them on!

I still need to pick up a few pieces before I can install my center console so I probably won't collect all the missing pieces and install it until sometime in the early spring. I still need to buy the radio dash bezel, front + rear mounting brackets and both front "kick panels/wings" that cover the open area by your feet. If anyone has any of these pieces for sale or if you come across any of them, please let me know... thanks!!!

I just wish it wasn't 15° outside and the ground wasn't covered in ice and snow. I want to install my oem fender flares but it's way to cold outside lol.

I had to remove my pocket style flares yesterday so I could trade with Disturbed and DAMN was it cold outside! I barely made it through the 20 minutes it took to take them off.

advice on your fender flares. Get two 15 foot rolls of 3m double sided adhesive tape. pretty sure i used the 1/2" wide stuff. Also you will want to get all the original adhesive off the back of the fender flares.

Yea I had to pick up a roll and do the same to my opt7 60" tail gate led bar when i was putting it on my 2012 because i had taken it off of my 06 at the dealer when I was getting my 2012.

Wasn't too much of a paint to get the old 3m off. Hopefully this 3m isn't nearly as bad to get off.

oem adhesive especially when older doesn't come off the same as 3m double sided tape. What if found works great is a window scraper razor blade.

Gonna look so much better now with the 20's and oem flares....at least IMO
