I think I might be trading in the truck.

Well I have only had my truck for about 6 months now but with 4 kids a wife and myself we can't all fit in my truck. The wife drives a old 2004 suburban Z71. We are looking at getting rid of both of our vehicles and trading it in on a new Suburban. I live about 700ft from work so there is not any need for us to have 2 vehicles. I found a used Maroon Suburban that they are shipping up for me to look at this week. I do not have pictures currently on hand but this is what it will looks like however it is Maroon.

The Durango will not fit my family and I.

You can get the third row in the Durango. So you will all fit.

A lifted vehicle for children is kind of silly IMO.

That being said, that deep cherry color of Chevy is f*cking HAWT!

This is exactly why Dodge should make an SUV based off of the 1500 or bigger. It does not matter what gas costs and it does not matter how bad economy is there will always be a place for a vehicle like this in the US and Dodge has nothing to offer. The Durango is too small. Why not build a large SUV and sell it slightly less than Suburban/ Yukon XL there is a market there plain and simple. I would want one for sure especially if it was a 2500 with Cummins so awesome it would be.

The Durango would fit my family with out gear. That is the only issue it is just plain too small. The Suburban would need to be lifted or a Z71 package for me. Here in Alaska the places that I go require more then just a stock vehicle. The lift would not be for looks but to allow us to make it down some roads. The wife hates lifted vehicles however the suburban is low to begin with so even a small lift brings it up to normal height for a truck.
I hope that they try to screw me over on the trade so that I get to keep my truck :)

That sucks. They need to bring back the ramcharger based off of the 2500 ram. I'd buy that.

Great in concept. Hideous in reality. I was just thinking today how I wanted a shell for my Ram, and how I wish they'd make a Gen IV Ramcharger.
