I've done a lot of mods and so far with good research and posting up a thread here asking opinions I've been very fortunate. I like everything I've done so far .
Subscribing so I can avoid what I've avoided so far

I agree about the ****** leveling kits :flipthebird:

That being said I also regret going with Rancho Quicklifts after the spacer lift. Should've gone Bilstein.

I also should've gone bigger than 275/65r20. They are too small lol

Timbrens were a waste of money as were TTC rear coils. They made the ride rough towing and put the ass end up in the air. I'm now back on stock coils and air bags. Should've gone that route from the beginning.

OEM Plastic molded mud flaps. had the rears on the truck, just for a couple of days. Read about the paint rub issue, on this forum, took them off to check and the plastic had already started to rub the clear coat.

Glad i found out about that issue, researching on this forum.

Throttle body spacer...put it on, took a trip around the block...took it right back off, couldn't stand the whistle.

Running the Anti-Flowmaster muffler on my last Ram.

This time I am going with the high flow SpinTech muffler, or if I decide to spend the money, the Gibson Metal Mulisha catback system.

Magnaflow 14m. Should have spent a bit more to get something better.

I think most of the upgrades that were improve performance were a waste:
- AirAid intake - take off stock and put on a new cone filter and tube
- Tried cooler spark plugs - went back to stock
- Lower temperature thermostat - nothing
- polishing, cutting things off carburetor - nothing
- Flowmaster muffler - sounded good but I wouldn't do it again.

Computers and modern engines aren't designed to be fooled with. Maybe an electric tuner is worth the money.

The only thing that works to get better gas mileage is to have a light foot.

What's an anti-flowmaster? You mean anti-reversion flow master?

Pretty sure those barely get into the performance boundaries of these trucks. Also carburetor cutting ???? Thermostat definitely a great upgrade , vararam or s&b are great upgrades, mufflers are all for sound..... and really..... Cooler spark plugs....C'mon mannnnn.......

I wanted some custom LED DRL in the space between my tow hooks. I ordered these nifty singles from Amazon. they looked awesome. one died within a few weeks and the others a few months later. Oh well. got a new bumper and now the wires are just tied to my tow hook.

After a year they are sagging to the point of the truck not even looking like it was leveled and a sloppy ride.

Kinda disappointed about it and it only got worse once I put my Magnum front bumper on last month. It doesn't matter if I adjust the dampening either.

lol. Right.

Umm we don't have carburetors and 180 thermostat does help keep temps cooler.

And you really only need colder spark plugs when you go Force induction to reduce detonation. They won't do anything on a N/A motor.
