That being said I also regret going with Rancho Quicklifts after the spacer lift. Should've gone Bilstein.
What's an anti-flowmaster? You mean anti-reversion flow master?Running the Anti-Flowmaster muffler on my last Ram.
This time I am going with the high flow SpinTech muffler, or if I decide to spend the money, the Gibson Metal Mulisha catback system.
Magnaflow 14m. Should have spent a bit more to get something better.
Subscribed.
I've done a lot of mods and so far with good research and posting up a thread here asking opinions I've been very fortunate. I like everything I've done so far .
Subscribing so I can avoid what I've avoided so far
I think most of the upgrades that were improve performance were a waste:
- AirAid intake - take off stock and put on a new cone filter and tube
- Tried cooler spark plugs - went back to stock
- Lower temperature thermostat - nothing
- polishing, cutting things off carburetor - nothing
- Flowmaster muffler - sounded good but I wouldn't do it again.
Computers and modern engines aren't designed to be fooled with. Maybe an electric tuner is worth the money.
The only thing that works to get better gas mileage is to have a light foot.
What are the inlet/outlet specs on it?Same here... I even posted in a different thread, that if anyone in SoCal (just north of San Diego) wants one for free.... Just PM me.
I had no takers.... and to reiterate... I'm not shipping the SOB!
Whats are the issue with yours ? Mine seem to hold up great so far.
Unless you wanted more height ?

Pretty sure those barely get into the performance boundaries of these trucks. Also carburetor cutting ???? Thermostat definitely a great upgrade , vararam or s&b are great upgrades, mufflers are all for sound..... and really..... Cooler spark plugs....C'mon mannnnn.......
