I finally had a chance to look the truck over since I bought it. Weather sucks here. WHen I was in MD this weekend I saw this orange colored things. There is 2 on each side. Its steel. Nothing is attached to it its just mounted to the frame.

Anyone know what its for or details on it?

Well what you have there is the attachment point for your JATO rocket assemblies. That steel tube is a dummy installed from factory, dealership should have swapped it out for a live one when they took delivery.

I'd head straight to the dealer because not having a live rocket strapped to your underbelly might damage your warranty if they can prove the damage might have been avoided if you were flying. ;)

Haha! That's great!

As for the steel discs, I don't have them where you have them. I have an empty bracket there. I have one on the bottom side of each frame mount, where it mounts to the bottom/aft of the cab. I'll take a pic later of it for you.

Those are harmonic cancelers. They help reduce exhaust drone/resonance in the frame.

Must be part of the MDS thing. Mine still has vibrations at low throttle when MDS kicks in. LOL can't imagine how much more it would be without them

I think you're right about the mds connection. Wait until you put a muffler on there and mds kicks in! One of my biggest regrets with my exhaust was that I got rid of the egg shaped resonator.

I have those too and theyre all rusted up! Its only been a month since I got mine and I havent had the chance to even drive in the snow.:( Are they suppose to rust up that bad already? I asked the service manager where I bought my truck and he says its normal. Im going to another steelership for a second opinion.
