Truck has been in the shop all week for fuel pump replacement. It’s a 2017 with 38000 miles. I was up in the mountain exploring campsites when my truck started bogging down and then shutoff. When it finally restarted the check engine light came on then the engine was raving up to 3000 rpm in gear but not going anywhere. I had to manually go into 1st gear in order for it to start moving but took almost 10 minutes for it to respond to throttle. Has anyone had an issue like this?
These are the codes that were pulled when I got it to the dealership:
Fuel pump control performance and fuel system 1/1 lean

Installed some Bull Ring tie downs. I had read that the lines on the bed rails were too big so I purposely went quite a bit smaller but still caught some metal when cutting out the fronts :(

Joined the Hellwig club super easy install and it makes a nice difference onroad and offroad, the last was something i wasn't exactly expecting per se. I have it on the most outer holes and out of curiosity i measured my shocks full droop offoading with stock rear sway bar then with the Hellwig, i have no loss in suspension travel at all compared to the stocker when setup this way.

30-40mph bursts in my local dirt road felt even smoother than normal with the Kings, but i haven't have the chance to give the setup some more speed yet. The real test will be in the desert away from civilization at 60-70mph.

Onroad after Hellwig i can enter/exit corners pushing the gas with more confidence while still respecting her high center of gravity and the heavy 315 tires i have, but overall the way the truck handles post install is noticeable and all in the good side. My only caveat is not fetching one these puppies when they were $185 :)

Today I gave it a bath. Then noticed a bad headlight housing. Here’s a picture of the right headlight f4b6b2012486b5e42207d5468bf5a69f.jpg04566fcbafe580e87cdea17e3a32d8dc.jpg

Ronjon '06 - Enjoy the truck. I did the same thing with the 04 I owned. It was rusting and the repair was almost as much as the truck was worth so out the 04 and in with the 17. Good Luck With It!

Well machine shop says need to go 30 over and doing domed piston so I will have a 6.0 with green cam soon (about 2months lol) can’t wait but my pocketbook can.

Edit. Shop just called and I will have a 6.1 :) time for some new badges. Could I put an SRT one and get away with it? :)
