Inez 5/7 Kit With Illicit Brackets Installed

Last week I installed the Inez 4/6 Kit with Illicit cut brackets, Hellwig Rear Swaybar, and QA1 shocks. It looked great, but I always want more, so I had to take it down to 5/7 today. I couldnt be more happy with how this turned out. Tires are 295/45/20 rear and 265/50/20 front.

Illicit cut or no cut brackets in the rear? How does she ride?

Thanks guys. It rides better than the standard Belltech Street Performance kit, but not as nice as stock. I havent taken many hard corners yet, but it has handled great so far on the few that I did take.

I am running the cut Illicit brackets out back.

did you cut the factory front springs to get to 5" drop? cut half 1/2 coil?
any reason why you went with the Illicit cut brackets vs the Inez?

A local friend of mine had a set of Crown 1" coils sitting on a shelf, so I used those with the Inez front control arms.

The Inez rear brackets look fine for everyday street use, but the Illicit brackets use a few extra bolts to mount them in place. I felt more comfortable with that for my particular truck because it is going to see some hard launches at the track on drag radials. For everyday street use, the Inez brackets are perfectly fine. They may be fine for the track as well, but I felt a little more comfortable with the Illicit kit.

For those of us running the Belltech 2/4 drop already, is it possible to get a 3/5 drop using the Illicit no cut brackets and small front coil cut? will everything cycle as it should?

Oh, How are the rear brake lines looking on that 5/7?

Can you post up side shots to see how the rear wheel is centered in the wheel well?

I seen the FB videos of the Inex Drop and the rear wheel still looked pushed forward, but It may just be bad camera angles.

How would you rate those crown coils? Stiffer than stock or softer? I know its hard to compare with so many other variables changed at the same time though

Truck looks great! I see both front and rear tires are ~30.5" tall, is there a clearance issue that keeps it from being able to run the 295/45 up front also? or just personal preference

Just personal preference, I like to run a narrower front tire to give it more of a muscle truck stance.

Too hard to say because I only drove it on the stock coils for 1 day. Visibly, they are slightly thicker in diameter though.
