So I'm new to the whole offset, big ass tires thing. In the past I've just ran 35s on a leveled ram. Well the 2016 I got is going to get the 6" and Bilsteins.

I can't seem to find any info on someone running 37 13.50 20 with -44. I can cancel my order for the 37s and go with 35s but I really wanted to squeeze the suckers under there.

Anyone have numbers to show me or personal experience? Im planning on getting the lift thrown on next weekend!

how much trimming am I going to have to do?

Are you running -44 on yours?

I'm going to be running a 20x12 -44 Fuel Maverick. Ordered the 37 13.5s today and got two for a hell of a deal off CL from a podunk tire shop.

I'm running 37x13.50 with 20x12 -44 NO bils....

I had to trim ALOT.

The bumper, wheel well and pinch welds needed to be modified.

Can't give you a definite answer if you'll still have to trim with the bils installed.

I'm not sure of my offset but I still rub with 37 12.5 20 on the pinch weld with full turn and the suspension flexed. I'd be worried about 13.5's.

So would y'all go through the trouble to trim everything up or would 35s be more worth it?

I'm trying to learn but the more numbers there are the more confused I get. Lol

I had no problem trimming up on my 4yr old truck.....if it was a 16? Ehh....might stick with 35's or go with bils/body lift just to be sure.

That's probably your safest bet (35's or 37 12.5).

What lift do you have?

Ram 3500 BDS 6" with Assault D 576 8 lug wheels that I'm unsure about the back spacing on?? I just looked them up. It appears the back spacing is -18.

I may just go ahead and try to squeeze the 37s under with the bils maxed out. I'm going to have to do a little trimming with my wheels cause they are 20x12" and I don't want to stretch 12.5s

Worst case scenario I have to body lift it.

12.5 will be perfectly fine on the 20x12.

I'm actually going down to the 12.5 from my 13.5 when I get new tires.

Not a ram but same wheel specs...

First off, an HD truck and a 1500 can't be compared with wheel and tire sizing. They sit at completely different heights from the factory and have different track widths. So I wouldn't use that as a direct comparison.

OP, you'll either want to add a body lift or stick with 35's as you won't like that mount of trimming you'd need to do to make the 37's fit. It won't be minor by any means. You'll be cutting some large chunks of metal out of your truck. A 6" with 20x12's and 35's is already going to rub without Bilsteins FYI.

^^ yep, It will look better on 35s also, IMO.

if you want 37s, swap the wheels to a 20x10 -24 and trim a little. They will still stick out plenty. You'd still want bils and a 1.5" body lift for this, at least one of them. You need about ~8" inches to run 37s with a normal negative offset. Same for 35s and 12" wheels, about ~8".

IMO, Rzrman's truck needs to be another 3"+ to run those tires. If you look at brandons truck, it sits about right. They look better when the bottom of the truck is closer to the top of the tire (height wise) vs when a big wide tire is stuffed up in the fenderwell. Stuffed fenderwells looked better with a ~0mm offset and thinner wheel. Just my two cents.

Just like I'm surprised no one has done this, but a 6" truck would look really good with the LT355/40R22 nittos and 22x12s. NothingButLifts built a half ton GM with that combo, it looks great:

But nobody wants them because they are "33s" not "37s" bro
