4" zone lift front spacer?

im thinking about getting a iron bull defender 4, i had a 4" zone lift with bils set to 1.4 the shop said they didnt put the front spacer in ? ive got about 1 1/2 rake but im afffraid id i get the bumper itll make the front end squat. should put the spacers in or is it a bad idea ?

Hmmm, not sure what the guy is talking about. There is no spacer in a Zone 4" kit. Go to the Zone website, and look at the pic of your lift . . . The 2 round black things with the plates on the top and bottom and silver threaded studs coming out of the top of them (right next to the coil springs) are bolted to the top of the strut tower. That's where your 4" lift comes from. Now the 6" Zone adds a coil spring spacer to get the additional 2" of lift. Maybe he thought it was a 6", or maybe Zone shipped a 6" instead of a 4". In any case, there is no spacer with the 4".

Most replacement bumpers are 150lbs so it wont squat drasticly like youre thinking.

Mine weight 136lbs and the stock bumper weights about 100lbs so really it wouldn;t be a difference.

Just raise the bilstein's if they are only at 1.4. See how much the bumper drops it and you can use that to decide what setting to go up to on the Bilsteins.

yea i didnt think there was a front spacer and im trying to avoid adjusting the ils up i dont want to make it to stiff of a ride
