Simple answer is, it will require a lot of work.

There are several spots on the frame that will need to be notched out and really best to be re-welded. When I say notched, in a couple spots pretty good. It can be done, but unless you are really good with fabrication, I'd let a professional shop do it.

With a 1.25" body, there will be no issues though. I know because I just installed some last weekend on my truck.

If you really want the amp steps Id say just do the 1.25"..if your more concerned with more height and not steps then definitely the 3"!!

Just do the 1.25" body. It is still a noticeable difference and your steps will still work fine.

Chad, this is exactly what I told you :005:
Do the 1.25" and call it a day. You won't have to fab your power boards.
