Hi everyone! So I want to get my truck lifted but I'm not entirely comfortable doing it myself. So what would the average cost to get this installed by someone else ? My truck is a 2012 Ram 1500 big horn 4x4, still running stock rims and tires (20" rims and p275/60p20). Would the lift make my wheels look silly? Or would it be better to wait to lift it when I can get 35's ?IMG_20140706_082024.jpg

Your stock tires and wheels would look really small with a level and body lift together. You could do just the leveling kit now, then when you get some cash saved up, do the 35"s and the 3" body lift together. Most guys use Hell bent steel 2.5 leveling kit, of course there are many other brands to choose from. Looking at about $100 for the kit, $60-$100 for alignment, and about 2 hrs rate for installation at $50-$80 per hour. These are just some general numbers depending on who you get to install it. So total for leveling about $260-$360. If you want a better ride, use adjustable bilstein 5100s, add an extra $100 to the above prices. Then the body lift runs around $300 for the kit and anywhere from $250-$500 for installation.
