I have 4" of safe clearance to get the truck in the garage. That being said I was going to Bils @ 2.1" but what to do for tires? I rally just want to feel the wheel wells out and those Laramie fender flares are massive.
What would you do if you only had 4" total height and factory Laramie rims and flares?
TIA!

Or don't put the truck in the garage! Then go with 6" [emoji106]

If you have 33s right now adding 35s would only raise the truck 1" (or less since some 35s are actually more like 34.5" diameter) so adding bils at 2.1" should give a total of 3.1" of lift. You should still have nearly an inch of clearance. 35x12.5 would fill out the wheel wells nicely. I have 20x10 -18 wheels on my Laramie and the 35x12.5 tires stick out beyond the flare by an inch or so. I was told 20x9 with 0 offset and 35x12.5 tires would be about flush with outer edge of flares.

Plan on keeping the factory rims. Oilfield sucks to bad to spend the money on rims. And unfortunately my income is from the Gulf and not the Permian. Don't the factory rims limit me in width and height?

If it were me, I would measure again, haha. Bils at 2.1 with a 295/60/20 (assuming you have stock 20's) would be a good set up. Otherwise see if you can raise the upper limit on your door for another inch and go with a 4" lift and bils at 1.4.

You should be able to run 35x12.5 tires on factory wheels no problem but you may have to use spacers to push them out a little to reach the outer edge of the flares. I'm not exactly sure what the offset of the factory wheels are but I believe they're 20x9.

Honestly, even beefier 33s or 34" tires would look good too with bils at 2.1.

Have not measured my truck I have now but my 07 2500 setting on 35s would still clear my garage door as well as the drive though car washes.
