Just wondering what labor would cost on a 4" lift would be. I know different shops will differ but what's the average and how much is overpriced. I prefer the look of a 4 " but I could be talked into 6" if the overall price difference in parts/labor isn't a lot more.

I was also told BDS and Zone parts are the more recommended setups and to avoid Rough Country. Is this accurate?

All of them are fairly good, but bds is definitely the way to go. Bds makes zone parts as well

BDS and Zone make a better lift then RCX. The difference between a 4" and 6" lift cost wise is like a 100 dollars. Install should cost the same for either. Expect 8-10 hrs shop labor.

Should be around $1000 to install

My local dealers gave me a quote of $950 and they other was $1300. The shop recommend from the BDS website was $1300 as well. The dealerships said they can also set up speedo calibration unlike the private shops at no additional cost .

I quoted 3 different shops. I got labor charges of $500, $900, and $1200. The $500 shop does mainly paint and body work, and very little suspension jobs. The $900 shop only does SuperLift kits and have done around 20 lifts. The $1200 shop is a BDS and ZONE dealer and he does lift jobs for 3 dealerships and lifts over 40 RAM's per year. So... I'm going with experience and quality for my brand new truck. Also, BDS warranty is unmatched, the best.

Thanks guys. I actually go right past a shop to and from work that specializes in lifts and just wanted to get a idea of the price range they will charge.
