RCX Body lift installed

What a day! Went to my uncle's house and we put the body lift on the truck today. Dad helped out where he could, and took a LOT of pics!

RCX sure could do some things a little different........and for them to say you HAVE to remove the headlights, grill and top bumper pad to do this? Nope.

Just lift the body up and pull the damn bumper. :Wedgie:

and yes, I need to adjust the exhaust. f'n wife was calling asking where we were.........I said F it, I'll do it this week sometime.

Very nice. I remember that fun...worst part was having to drill those new holes. Took 3 drill bits for us to get through it.

The reason the directions say to remove the headlights is because they were written up using a sport model....and on the sport bumpers there are two bumper bolts behind the headlight housing.

oh I know - sport fun there. And YES, those stupid holes to drill..

We did ok on it, had a BIGASS drill and some new bits.

Oh, and she fits in the garage.

Next truck........I think I could easily do a 4" lift on it. It would be about an inch taller than me now (a hair less than an inch anyway)

oh, and don't trust the 1-3 hours for install time as per the instructions. LOL

Took us 5. But, I'd rather take my time and not rush through it. I would bet that my next one will go a few minutes faster.
