Hey guys,

So has anyone ever used the Rear Monroe Airshocks on their trucks? My Ram is Leveled up front and with my 18ft Car hauler and my racetruck loaded up it pretty much had the rear bottomed out. I ended up trying out a set of the Monroe air shocks from O-Reilly's and am completely satisfied with them. I usually put 130lb of air in them when loaded and run with 30lb or so unloaded. Just throwing out another option incase anyone didn't know about them.
Below is a before pic with the stock shocks and an after with the Monroe Airshocks and 130lb of air.

Charles

Just keep an eye on your shock mounts. They were not designed to carry weight.

For sure. I have a set of tufftruck springs coming for the rear to help aid in that department.

Instead of air shocks w/heavier springs, you could go with TLC or Timber Grove airbags. Both are a no cut/bolt on design. When not needed, you keep 5 psi in them and you don't notice any difference in the ride.

airlift ultimate 5000 is another air bag to look at. no air needed when unloaded and you can set up on board air in cabin for inflation.

I have TTC-1211S and mine still sagged more then I wanted, I am going to ad air bags to it to help control ride height.

Timber Grove air bags
Firestone ride rite,
also Air lift makes them.

Run 1400 miles like this, my old half tons held weight this new ones dont..lol

I know the AirLift 5000 kit you have to cut the bumpstop pocket off. Unless I missed it, the Ride-Rite set up for the 1500 Ram is a coil spring replacement.
The Wireless Air and WirelessOne compressor systems from Airlift will work with any of the above mentioned airbag kits.
