Is it crucial to put the 5100s set at 2.8 in the front on a 2013 ram express 4x4 with a zone 6 inch lift? Would it be beneficial to replace all 4 shocks and struts or do the lift kits come with all of that stuff

No not crucial , depends on if you want to be level or not .

Zone lift will come with rear nitro shocks or it has the option to upgrade to Fox shocks.

Yes want to be level. Also debating on 20 inch wheels with 35s or 22 inch with 37s. What does it entail to recalibrate the speedometer? How much will it be off? And how horrible will gas mileage be? 3.55 gears and 5.7 hemi.

I have 37x13.50x20 with 3.55s. 6"zone lift bilsteins maxed. Mixed driving I'm staying around 11.5mpg. Never hand calculated it though, don't care enough.

If you want the truck to be level you will need to install the Bilsteins at 2.1" provided you have the 5" rear coils. 2.8" will put you slightly nose high.

I thought I read somewhere FOX owns BDS & ZONE ?

The Fox coilovers are adjustable from 0"-2". So not quite as high as the Bilsteins but can be put anywhere between the 0" and 2" as they are a threaded adjustment.

Fox doesn't own Zone and BDS. They are just affiliated with them.

Sounds good. How is fitment with 22 compared to 20 inch. and 37's what will be the best bet I'm thinking I would like the 22s and 37s however just not sure how much they wills tick out and again I will be running fender flares painted to match i like how they look. will 22 affect things a terrible amount

Speedometer being off has nothing to do with wheel diameter , overall tire diameter is what determines that . Not sure on amounts , maybe Thatdude596 or brandonjansen or someone can chime in .

he's correct a 17" rim on a 20" tire with have the same revolutions as a 26" rim on a 20" tire. a 37" tire is heavier than a 35, and a 22 is heavier than a 20". that's added weight and rotating mass. you are on the low end of the spectrum with the gears. can u push 37s with 22s, sure but u will lose power and be stressing the drivetrain and wear through front end parts faster..you can be a trinity tuner for 500 and it will correct speedo and give a little more power. I don't know as I went for gears instead..you fan also buy a 300 speedo healer I'd not looking for a tune as well. just keep in mind the variables and how much you have not only to spend up front but in repairs

so I should stick with 20x9 or 20x10 and 35x12.5 would be my best bet as I have 20's on it currently from factory. I am not looking to spend a ton on repairs even though I can repair myself mostly.

jk honestly I don't know your finances and only yiu can make that choice.you can keep your factory rims and add a 1.5 spacer to get some stance. those and 35s would be cheaper all the way around . my theory is go big or go home..with that being said it sees about 25-75 miles a week and I'm ok with whatever breaks, and replacement tire costs, brakes, parts ,etc..

where at in Kentucky are you, I grew up in Greenup county

As others have already mentioned, the rim diameter itself doesn't mean anything fitment wise. It's the rim width/offset, and tire diameter/width that play into the calculation. Without knowing what rim width/offset and tire size you want to run I can't tell you anything about how far they'll stick out.

And again, as the others mentioned the overall tire size is what affects your speedometer, not the rim diameter. If can be corrected with an aftermarket tuner.

Looking at fuel mavericks @ -24 like i said i dont want to beeak crap or be worried about breaking stuff so much. This is more for a look rather than off road functionality. Again not sure if i want 20 and 35 or 22 and 37. Leaning towards the 20 and 35 combo
