2015 steps mounted on a 2017

Has anyone mounted a set of 09-15.5 steps on a 16+ truck? Everywhere I look I am told I can't. I have a set of nfabs I used for 3 months before I traded my 15 Laramie for my17 Rebel. The front mount is different there seems to be bracket already there........

Anyone have any luck fitting them on a newer truck? I'd love to not have to buy them again

You just need to unbolt that bracket. It covers up a wire harness. Then the steps will fit.

Ok thanks a lot. I'll try that. Should that bracket bolt back over the bracket for the steps?

I moved my OEM steps from my 15 1500 to my 17 2500. Just had to loosen up the steps from mounting brackets and adjust a little to get everything to line up.
