Hello,

I'm new to the forum. I have a 2010 Hemi TRX4 Crew Cab with single exhaust and was looking at a Bestop Bed Step (https://www.etrailer.com/Tube-Steps...+Pickup/2010/B75306.html?vehicleid=2010304096).

I would like to upgrade the exhaust to the MBRP Dual Split Exhaust (MBRP XP Series Dual Catback Split Exit Exhaust System 2009-2016 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L - T409 Stainless Steel)

Does anyone have this combination?

It says that Bestop Step is for single exhaust only and they only have it for the Drivers side. It looks like it mounts differently than the one for dual exhaust trucks but I was afraid the step would hit the exhaust which I would be adding later.

There is one for the dual exhaust. Not sure about Bestop, which is a cheap knock off of the Amp Bedstep. Amp makes one for duals but you have to have the dual exhaust bumper with the cut outs.

Welcome to the forum, I have the AMP bed step for single exhaust, Duel's require a different step. Mounting is different.

I've got the Bestop Bedstep for my 2016 Ram 1dual exhaust. What you want to do should work.

Actually it isn't a knockoff. Bestop is the manufacture for AMP. The only real difference is that AMP has a different grip on the step. The bestop is a high quality product.

@xrsman thanks for the info. I'm going to order the step it might be a while before I get around to the exhaust and I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have to remove the step later.

I just ordered the Bestop off of Amazon for $169 - $25 coupon (I've never seen a coupon on amazon before) So $144 with free shipping seems like a pretty good deal to me. I'm a little sad that I need a step to get in and out of the back of my truck now but jumping down is killing my knees.

I heard that Bestop was started by former AMP Research employees. I've got the Bestop bed step too. I'm Very pleased with the design and quality (not to mention the significantly lower price). It may be a knockoff, but it is just as robust as the AMP Research one on my buddy's truck.
