Time for a set of tires and I think I want the terra grappler g2 but have read a few bad reviews so now I'm second guessing it. I'll be towing 17k once a month probaly so I don't want something that is going to float. Also durability and grip off road are also a huge plus. Any seguestions?

I prefer the KO2 however I have a 1/2 ton. I know many run them on 3/4 and 1 tons though with good results.

For the 1500 you can't go wrong with the Terra Grapplers. I have them an absolutely love them. Some of these bad reviews I really have no idea where they come from. One guy said they were horrible in rain. I live in FL, plenty of rain, and I can tell you these things are the best gripping tires I have ever had. I used to have to use 4x4 to keep from sliding around, now I don't even think about it. I am excited to see how they do in sand in a few weeks. If I can get through the soft sand where I launch my skis without 4x4, then it will be confirmed - any one who says they suck is an idiot. (Last year, every time I went, at least 5 people got stuck in that sand)

I have always liked the Goodyear all-terrains on my Suburban however they didn't last very long. My Ram 1500 has the Continentals on it now and they're very nice

I've had my G2's for awhile now and so far they seem to be great all around tires. I have 295/60/20's on stock chrome clads.

Very happy with the G2's. Very good in the dirt, snow and the way their wearing I should get 50-60k out of them.

I had KO2's on my 3/4 ton, couldn't even get 15k out of a set. I don't think they hold up well under heavy trucks. Otherwise they were great.

Just put a set of G2s 305/65/18 on about a month a go. I do mostly city driving and besides looking good they ride smooth and are quieter then normal A/T in my opinion

And the G2 is one of the very few that have a tread wear warranty. 50k for LT's and 60k for P metric. And it definitely looks like I'll get 50k out of them on the 2500.

I'm happy with my Cooper AT3s. 10000 miles on them and they still look new and I've only rotated them once. Not the most aggressive AT tire but they're holding up pretty well so far

I ran 10 ply General Grabber AT2s on my last 1/2 ton for 50,*** miles. Still had passable tread left. My father in-law runs the same tires on his F-350 and tows about a 10,000 lbs trailer for work. He has nothing but good things to say about them as well.

Really great tires for the price in my opinion.

Don't be worried about a couple of bad reviews on the Nitto's. I've used them before on past vehicles and loved them. Once my stock tires are bald, I'm going to buy them again. Actually liked them so much that I'm going to use their road tire on the wife's Durango.

I have the Cooper S/T Maxx on my truck now and they also are wearing very well. Especially compared to the KO2's I was running. So far it's been a great tire all around.

I have a set of 10ply Toyo AT2 extremes. Excellent off road and nice and quiet in the highway, and they have a decent tread warranty.
Not too bad looking either lol

Muteki Trail Hog. AT tire but MT looking, and also has snowflake rating . Basically a duratrac copy , but just cheaper. Performs great in all weather

Is this the Canuck version of the Kanati Trail Hog?
