So for $35 you can have a shipped 3" black antenna to your door. Replace the old 10ft tall antenna, and go with 'Stubby' antenna.

Gives truck a cleaner, less CB Radio look. LOL

I love the look and the missing tower coming from my fender always in view. Downside is where I live reception is crap. Good thing 95% of the time Im on spotify.

Looks its a perfect 10, function is more like a 3.

I keep my stock antenna on as a gauge for low clearance parking garages.

Yea but by the time you get close enough for that to be your gauge... you may already be stuck inside a parking garage with 3-4 cars behind you on a busy street in downtown Indianapolis. Ask me how I know? lol What a trainwreck that was. After that I decided to just measure my truck up the Shark Fin antenna and steer clear of anything that comes within 2 inches of that number. It's worked out for me so far, plus my stubby antenna looks 1000x better than that hideous factory one did.

Is the reception really that much worse, as noted by another poster on this thread?

Get the stubby antenna and then get a amplified antenna to hide in your dash somewhere to get better signal

I have the stubby and reception as absolutely horrible both AM/FM and that's in Chicago, not out in the country. Luckily for me I listen to my iPod or Sirius

Don't they sit lower than the top of the truck. Like eye height, if you can't see a roof that low you shouldn't be driving! lol Just messing with you.

What people are saying about you loosing decent reception on the radio is true, I changed mine and although I gained 75hp+ from reducing the drag my reception went to ****, hey but it looks way cool even though I only get 3 stations now! That and my catch can are good for 100hp + together!
