Error Message

Changed my license plate bulbs to LED and am getting an error message saying "License Plate Light Out" but they're working just fine.

Anyone know why I'm getting this, and what can be done to fix it?

Led show lower resistance than incandescent bulbs so the truck thinks its out. Canbus rated bulbs might help.

Yup, you have to buy canbus defeating, or canbus compatible, LED bulbs. Not all will work for the trucks either, as our trucks have a particularly picky bulb system.

As stated You need canbus bulbs.
Get them from superbrightled's once you change them you won't have any problems error codes
