Hello all,
I have a 2009 ram 2500, 5.7 hemi.
On the top, front of the fuel tank, there is a little module to which the evap hose attaches to, as well as a thin vent line which runs to the top of the filler neck. What is this module called? Circled in red in the attached image.
After a DIY smoketest, I found that the nipple to which the thin vent line attaches was cracked, and it snapped off while I tried to remove the line. I suspect the crack was the source of an evap leak engine code. I'd like to seal up the hole, but if this doesn't solve the CEL I'll need to replace the module and need to know the name. Also worried about filling issues if I plug up the hole.
Thanks!
