Looks cool. When I bought my truck, it had carbon fiber type hashmarks on both front and rear. They were more above the wheels, and more angled - but I really liked them. If they didn't have the dealer initials in them, I probably would have kept them on.

I believe it was started by one of the Corvette teams at LeMans back in the 60s to differentiate one car from the other, much like the C6.Rs have differing windshield decal colors to make it easier to tell which car is which.
A Cunningham innovation perhaps?
On the street cars it's a nod to those original Corvette racers.
