I bought last year a 2014 Ram 1500 QC that turned out to have a ProComp leveling kit complete with Zone UCA's.

I needed to replace the tires and decided to keep the stock tire size but went from the Goodyear SRA's to the Cooper Discoverer AT3 in 275/60 r 20.

Even though I think the larger tire would probably look even better than what I replaced the OEM tire with I couldn't justify in my mind the extra $400 for the minor aesthetic improvement and the additional loss of mileage. Actually surprised how good the mileage is. I am getting 17-18 predominantly local and any real highway I am getting between 22-24 mpg. At least that was with the OEM tires only have about 100 miles with the new tires.

I am curious how many others have a leveling kit and kept the stock tire size and why?

I just got an identical quote for the identical tires--and decided the exact same thing. $400 for 1/2" of ground clearance is not worth it for me, and I might regret going to a load range E 275/65/20 since the ride will likely suffer a bit. If you can post a pic I'd appreciate it--I'm leaning towards 2.1 lift on 5100s with the AT3 in stock size and a stock rear end with Airlift 1000s (already have this).
275/60/20 $192 ea
275/65/20 $275 ea (+$357 w/tax)
285/60/20 $292 ea (+$427 w/tax)
All currently qualify for $80 back at store and $70 Cooper rebate.

It's raining here today and then we are supposed to switch to snow tonight. I will get a picture up for you ASAP but it will probably be a few days. Surprised how quiet and smooth the tires seem so far. :happy107:

Stock size (33") doesn't look bad from a direct side view with bilsteins set at 2.1 but can look a little small. Here is my truck when I had 33" Toyo m/t's

Here's a pic from this morning. Excuse the dirt but it's been snowing and raining all week It needs a good bath. Based upon my research on the leveling kit from ProComp it is raised 2.75" in the front.

Looks like you've got some rake there still--thanks for the pics!

I measured it last year when i discovered that I had a level and there is about 3/4 of an inch rake. Not alot and from some angles it looks perfectly level but I like it. :)

I leveled mine with bilstein's set at 2.1 with stock size hankook dynapro atm tires. I think I have maybe an inch of rake, which for me is perfect. I occasionally haul stuff and pull a boat and dont want to be nose high. I really like the falken at3 tires too, those may be my next set. I too couldnt justify the extra cost for bigger tires.

Well I broke down today and ordered Cooper AT3s in 275/65/20. I am doing Bilstein at 2.1 with Mevotech UCA and figured the extra $ was worth it for the 34" tire.

I have 275/60/20 Falken Wildpeak AT3W and I think the front looks stuffed in at stock height. Falkens were $697 all in.

I chose the same tires in stock size with my modest 1.4" lift. I think they look a little small in those fender wells. I think 18" wheels would look better but I'm not springing for those any time soon. 20" wheels just seem to make the OEM size tires look like bicycle tires to me. But it runs, rides nice and I've learned to be happy with it.
