I almost upgraded my 130RES radio to a NAV unit, but went with the non-NAV RBZ instead.I just ordered a Bayou as well... This is the first vehicle since I was a youngster, that I didn't get fully loaded, Nav is a must for me... but more times than not, after getting ****** around by my OEM nav, I reached for my droid.. So I figured, why buy it decked out, when I hate the line out limitations on OEM radios anyway?
Only thing I'm missing now.. Is leather, and I'll katzkin them soon enough!
I like the Bayou Mount,
however,
am I the only one that has luck just sticking my mount to the console?
ETA: I don't like to leave my GPS or mount showing when I go places,
so I always take it off when parking for an extended period of time.
Can you send me a link to this particular mount please?
Read this thread a couple days ago and think it is the perfect location for GPS. So, being a tool maker, went to town designing and fabricating a one off creation. Overkill for sure but think it will be very cool. Actually made a base the same shape as rubber tray insert and a lollypop looking mounting surface, all .060 SS. 80% done. All sand blasted and ready for True Blue paint to match body. Will post pics when done.
