Would you ask for a new door panel?

My truck is about a month old now since I bought it and all 6 of the screw plastic pins that hold the panel on all popped off at the same time. Upon further inspection the holes for the panels aren't even lined up. Would you let them see if installing new pins would help it or ask for a new panel? I'm afraid they might glue the pins in to keep them in there.

Here are some pictures.

I wouldn't demand a new door panel. Holes will align as soon as you push the pins back in.
But I would ask the dealership for a new set of push-pins!
(Hard to come by and really overpriced.)
The old ones are obviously worn out and won't hold up for long.

Thank you. I was just wondering because I've had the truck a month and those fell off already. It doesn't even have 1000 miles on it yet.

Yeah, that is strange. Maybe your door panel wasn't seated correctly from factory.
Let them take it off and check for broken tabs inside. But I doubt that. It is pretty sturdy built.
I had mine off a few times now and the holes never aligned 100 percent prior to popping the push pins in. None of them ever fell out on my truck though.

Similar issues on a different vehicle. Let them warranty fix it and if it were to happen again.. I'd ask them if it's an option. They normally go for it or tell you 3rd times a charm. Sorry to hear about the troubles though.

Thank you. I just got back from the dealer and they installed all new clips and double checked to make sure they were tight. Thanks again everyone.

^That^

My R/R panel was wonky, I let them replace just the push pins then after that set failed 2 weeks later the dealer was ready with the replacement panel. Try the easy route first, does the panel get a lot of sun exposure? May be a little warped?
