Been beat by a silverado/sierra?

I was wondering if it's possible for a 2016 ram RT to be beat by a 2016 silverado / sierra with a couple of mods at the drag strip? Maybe if the sierra has all the mods the ram has?

Anything's possible. When it comes to racing on the strip tracion plays a bigger part and most bolt on mods.

I have a 14 ram rt with no mods but a muffler and stickers and out side of the eco boost fords i feel like i could take most trucks up to 105 mph which is where my governor kicks in..

When i lived in tampa i got the jump on so many mustangs and challengers and such off the line .. In the end i lost but off the line if i hook up i can give them all a good run, but again i am stock other then my muffler.

Once i am settled into a job ill be bolting on performance stuff but for now i am just piddling with racing stripes, wheel colors and other vinyl trim and things

Just turn the key to start when governer kicks in it'll start pulling again.you can go to about 135 anything over that is to much for stock tranny. But all depends on mods and gears racing 1/8 mile or 1/4 or top end?

My 05 is governed at 155

Dont worry your starter will not kick in when its in drive your radio and a/c will also go off though. Oh and dont release the key until you are back down around 100

Do you mean 105? Or do you have a programmer that has unlocked it up to 155. If it'll do 155 bone stock I gotta see this..

I was just wondering what's it take for a gmc truck to keep up or beat am RT like on a 1/4 mile and if possible with a few bolt ons or is the RT that fast?

1/4 mile stock vs stock ram all the way gmc with bolt ons can beat the RT but thats in a perfect world saying both light times are the same amd 100% traction from both trucks beat em on the light you'll prolly win get some smaller wider tires you'll also prolly win.

Sweet got a special truck there then. Butnidk why the would govern it to 155 when the speedo dont read that high did you change tire sizes possibly to smaller so your speedo will read faster that what your actually going so a 105 governer would allow speedo to read 110

The 6.2L sierra should beat an r/t if both are stock for 1/4
