Wanted to start a thread where you can show off your intakes. NOT really a “which intake is better” thread but maybe some customizations members have done to their intakes to give other members some ideas. Or why you chose the intake you did (other than claimed hp). All brands welcome.....

My truck has the black package so I went with a K&N Blackhawk with an Outwear prefilter to keep that black appearance when I pop the hood...

I got the K&N when it was the only CAI available for the 6.4 but didn't want the wet filter. I bought an Amsoil dry cone filter and sock. No discernable performance difference, but sounds good.7191f09aabcdda071352d274bded72e7.jpg

Seems to me like a Vararam would go just about perfectly with a Venom hood?

Also, how much ARE said Vararam intakes? And how do they sound compared to stock, and the standard pod style filters? Performance differences? Is hat style the best?

I have had pod style k&n intakes on past trucks with a big difference in sound. With the vararam I didn’t notice much as it is pushed up again we’d the hood so I think it keep a lot of the sound out of the cab... talk to Matt at Moe’s. For pricing as he gives us a nice discount!
