Hey thanks Guys !
I do have my owners manual , I was just looking for what others might be using to help me make a decision on what to use.
I will definitely be using Redline oil !
I was reading up on the Redline differential oils , some in the same weight class specifically say synthetic , some doesn't mention synthetic ? I thought all Redline oils wer 100% synthetic?
I also found 75-140 listed for use with Anti-spin Differentials and some 75-140 that didn't mention Anti-spin or synthetic . Turns out Redline does make an Anti-spin additive as well .
In conclusion I'm thinking of going with the Redline 75-90 synthetic in the front and 75-140 synthetic in the rear end and add the Redline Anti-spin additive .
What's your thoughts on my conclusion stated above ?
I'll be draining my oil from the differentials through a paint filter to see how much metal is there from breaking in ,( if it's too thick for the filter then I'll use a strong rare earth magnet in a small funnel to catch the metal )
well not really a breaking in oil change I have about 27,500 miles now and plan on changing @ 30k .
I'll be posting up pics of my findings for every one to see just for the hell of it .
Thanks for the read .
