I'd like to buy new exhaust tips for my 2013 and while installing the body lift last week I noticed what looked like tac welds on the round joint where the factory tips are clamped. Am I correct in what I was thinking? If so do I just grind the welds off to adjust the tips for the body lift?

They have a small tack weld but when I swapped mine out I just needed to give them a little wiggle and it broke the weld.

Yes they are. As Stimpy already pointed out they have a small tack weld. All I did was use a flat head screw driver and a hammer popped right off.

This is helpful. I recently had a shop weld in a Magnaflow 22 and my tips are now tucked further in then they were. I feel like it might be causing more in cab drone than I should be experiencing. 2w51u6x.jpg
Anyone have any idea if there is enough pipe there to pull my tips out an inch?
