I want to wire a 'window switch' to turn the Nitrous shot on at 3200 rpm and off at about 5700 for the shift, but don't know where to tap the switch into so that it picks up an rpm signal on a 2014 w/5.7 and 8spd.
-Where can I pick up a tach signal for the switch?
-What's the part number for a colder plug?

The 8sp trucks respond better when spraying through the shift. I would skip the window switch, and just start on a smaller shot (50 shot). Then work your way up from there until the tires cant hold.

Thad knows where to tap into for the signal.

Tap the #1 injector wire, don't use the coil wire like some people have done, there's an off-burn pulse as well and that messes up the window switch. Use the Denso 3381 plugs.

I have my NOS mini progressive controller picking up its tach signal from the #6 coil and it is a dead on accurate match to my tach...

Thanks Matt,i wasn't sure they were compatiable with the 14's and the newer coil set-up on them.

It's the same plugs I'm running everyday Rick; dirt cheap compared to the 4 stage colder plugs that I run with the blower/nitrous.

You got that right Kurtis, they were just over $7.00 a plug at Bumper to Bumper.I wasn't to sure if they'd be the right plugs for a 14,with the coil change they did on the 13's and newer trucks, but i'm gonna throw them in and give them a whirl.

Carquest has the 3381s for under 3 dollars a plug.

What are you guys gapping your plugs at.Back in the day of carbs and single coils 0.028" was the ideal gap to prevent blowing the spark out,but with the new coil on plug set-ups is 0.028" still the gap to shoot for or would 0.032" be a better gap.

0.30" is the norm for the Densos with up to a 150 shot. I run mine at .025" with the blower but was running my NGKs at .030" with the nitrous only.

We're in Canada, cheapest plugs you can find anywhere are $5 at least so $7 is a deal.

Oh wow. It's surprising that yall can do any racing at all with 7 dollar plugs and 100 dollar nitrous bottle fills.
