2007 Dodge 2500 Question

Hello, first post here, but it's an important one.

I'm #SeekingAdvice

I'm thinking seriously about buying this 2007 Dodge 2500 SLT Cummins diesel with the 5.9L.

It's super clean. I've looked at tons and this one is above par.

It's got 119,000 on the odometer.

But, I'd be financing close to $20,000 on this much older truck. And no warranty. <~~~~~~

I'm leaving behind/ currently own a 2014 Ram 2500 fully loaded Laramie 5.7L gas engine w/ warranty.

I'm looking for it to be an weekend driver only and to better pull my 26 foot bumper-pull RV

Is this a smart move? Anything I should be cautious about?

Seems like my gas 2500 is depreciating at a RAPID rate.

ADVISE IS HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER!!!

Should it not pull better than my gas 5.7L?

It should. But a drive with your trailer will let you know for sure. Plus you will know how the engine heats during towing. Test the brakes, a/c. How the transmission shifts

That's​ a really clean truck. I don't know a ton a out Diesels but I always here people complaining about injectors that need to be replaced around 100K, and how expensive it is.

Original paint. No wrecks. Clean title. Two owner truck.

The gray on the rocker panels is not an original color, the grille has been painted, both taillights are broken. The taillights being broken would indicate that they were possibly pried out for body work. Also, the driver's side rear door looks like it doesn't line up right. The gap is larger at the top than the bottom. The 2500 and 4x4 emblems are missing.

These are just my observations.

The tail lights aren't broken. Both intact.

Brother. I took the pic. That's how both lights are. So when you reverse, you can see the white light.

Also, those are not factory tail lights. They look similar, but they are not OEM. OEM tail lights do not have that distinct black border going around them. Also, the OEM tail lights are not that clear. Those look like ebay replacement tail lights.

Was this damage on the truck when you went to look at it? Also, notice that the tail light look different in this picture. It does not appear to be cracked, and does not have the black border.
