hey guys im new here so i apologize if this is in the wrong section. im having some issues with the temperature displayed on my OHC in my 06 1500, randomly it will go to -40F then count its way back up to regular temperature and for the last 24 hours about its been steady at -28F has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know how to fix it? thanks for reading and the help!

no issues here on my 07. Have you tried disconnecting the negative battery cable for at least 20 minutes? Cutting power for a while resets most control modules. The OHC may reset itself too. Just throwing out ideas not really sure it would work.

probably a bad ambient temp sensor... they are like $15 from dealer, and 2 min to install.
