New DIY on the way guys. In the past i have always seen lots of folks asking about how to change plugs. so i took a bunch of pics yesterday while changing mine out. im in the process of writing it up now.

It took me 2 hours to change my oil, change the oil in the wife's car, and change my plugs. thats while drinking a 12 pack, and taking pics for the DIY. i didnt use any special/crazy tools, and i wasnt cussing up a storm.

Previously i had used the copper NGK 5306, but the parts stores were all out of those, so i went with the copper champions.

nice John...I just changed my plugs today (ngk 4306's)...im down to using just a spark plug socket connected to a universal joint connected to a 3" extension to my 3/8" drive wratchet (an 10mil socket on 1/4" wratchet for coil packs)

after you do the plugs once, they go REALLY quick. i've done 3 sets now and it takes less than half the time it took the first time.

Yup, once you've done it once the job gets a lot faster.

Does anyone have an opinion on the pulstar DG1P spark plugs? They are reported by the manufacturer to be good for 100,000 miles, 1,000,000 watts of spark versus the standard 50 watts, and that there is a federal law preventing Dodge from voiding the lifetime drive train warranty by using after market parts if they don't offer the same plug.

Not going to spend $100+ on plugs imo. I am very happy with my NGK 4306

Yea the other day was my first plug and wire change.... And it took a while! But now that I know how the wires to coils are it'll be way easier next time if I do it before I buy a newer RAM lol I put the champion copper cores that were oem back in.... And it was still $160 for plugs, wires, boots, and an oil change....

Incredible 2 on the move!

They are reported to increase mileage, horsepower, and burn the fuel more completely. I also am concerned about the price but if I only have to change the plugs every 100,000 miles instead of every 30,000 miles I think it works out to be less expensive.

I don't buy the claim that they will increase hp, and mileage, but if they work as well as the stock copper plugs and do last to 100k miles they might be worth it

As far as all those fancy plugs go.. I personally wouldn't use them. Hemis are known to only like copper core plugs, and have been proven to run like **** on the fancy plugs.
