not sure (myself) Chris - but I think the members that might know will need to know if your truck is a 1500 or 2500, and what backspacing the wheels have.

38 will fit, its the 15.50 width that might give you problems

As already said, 38's will fit but your going to have to find something that is not as wide! The 15.50 wide will be a big problem! Your wheels are going to be a big factor too depending on the backspace and offset.
I have 9" of lift with 37x13.5's and have no issues at all on a 1500 and still have plenty of room.
