On the 3rd gen trucks (specifically the 2002 bodystyle) I know they came with a front IFS, I'm wondering if it's possible to use a 4wd lift on a 2wd. If not, why? As far as I could tell the front suspension parts are for the most part the same, someone please teach me something before I have to hack something up :superhack:

The 4WD uses a torsion bar system without a coil were as our RWD use coils. You could use the spindle but that's it you'd have the keys, shocks, and other hardware sitting around. The steering is slightly different to accommodate the front diff and the sway bar is angled differently as well
