alright, my truck did not i repeat did not come with fogs, as all you know i bought fogs that are smoked, and have 5k hid's in them, thanks to AWE Daniel i now have got all my parts to now wire them up, is there a way on my 04 to hook them into the factory wiring and have them come on with my heads and go off with my heads, with out the factory style fog light switch?, i know Kevin has told me NO, but its a question i am still confused about cause i know alot changed from the 02,03 models in my 04 and later, I know i have a connection down by my front bumper on the drivers side, i think it could be for factory fogs, but its not on the passenger side....do i find a factory switch, and hope the thing is in as good looking condition my interior dash pcs are, or wire to aux switch?....opinions please.....

Yes that connection IS your fog lights and are wired to your switch . You just pull out that switch and boom for lights .

As far as wiring them so all come on at once you can use the old jumper method .

I once had a 04 and she was magical

LMC part# 56-6256 is the 02-05 headlight switch W/fogs...it's $60.00...if you don't wanna rig up a jumper...Dave, is the regular switch rated well enough to handle the fogs if you jump it?

Then all you need is a new switch that has the fog switch built in ... you have the harness already

My switch doesn't pull out to turn on/off fogs, it pushes in.

Difference in years maybe?

The 02-05 switch pulls out a little to light up the fogs, the 06-08 switch pushes (acutally the new ones do too but the switch is once again different)

You should be able to find the switch cheap, and yes, they should be the same for all the model trucks (1/2, 3/4, 1 ton) Dodge is too cheap to make a specific part when they don't have to lol

EDIT: Damn dude for $13 bucks I'd try that switch regardless hahaha
