Go with the year and description not the part number because they become revised not out of production..
rock-auto parts has OE in stock and the generic replacement too
also 2500 to 3500 up to 2009

Seal attaches to pinch rail on body along the top of both doors. The top of both doors shut against the seal. There is a bubble above and below the J channel

I see this description as what is referred to as an
“upper door secondary seal”
there are a few models that use this type of moulding ..
I’ve reattached lose ones by cleaning using alcohol prep then a bead of urethane sealant ..over laying them with plastic wrap them closing the door and leaving the plastic wrap between the door and the weather stripping for 24 to 48 hrs.
if it is torn you can shim the two pieces together using soft poly air hose like a dowel and fill with sealant lay the plastic after it has set up and wait to dry.
