Is there anything inside the part of the dashboard that shades the instrument cluster? On my 04 QC, it starts jutting out above the stereo & HVAC controls and gets deeper all the way to the other side of the steering wheel. I would guess there's nothing but sound insulation in there, but I'd really hate to drill through any wiring.
