That will make a good increase in performance. Who's tuning it? And what converter you running?

I have the 268 as well with a 3800 stall from Circle D

I hope so

Can't wait to fire it up so far I'm up in the air on that I think I may swap the pcm over to the 05 before having it tuned? Not driving to much until I get an a/f wideband in? Your thoughts on that ?

As for the torque converter it's still stock was thinking maybe a 2800-3000 stall I'm really not very automatic trans savvy I grew up driving sticks but I can replace a converter and would not be hesitant to do a valve body kit

I commented on your thread elsewhere, I was gonna say that 268 may be iffy with that 03 PCM lol. Would be a good idea if you can swing it. Might be easier to do with the access you have right now.

Yeah I know

Will it run worth the 03 pcm occasional stalling, low vacuum etc.. but run and for the pcm swap I just need an 05 pcm for a 2500 5.7 auto correct and the tcm I remove?

I would suggest hitting up Jay Greene for the 03 pcm tuning, he has tuned a friend's 03 pcm with a pretty radical cam. Jay Greene is on FB. I wouldn't be too concerned driving it without an a/f wideband if you are just putt-ing around. I would not go wide open throttle though. I did run the Edge 11" 3000 stall with my 268 for a long while. Ran great. Just upgraded last year to the 3800. I gained quite a bit by just swapping out the converter and getting a refresh on my custom tune from Hemifever.

Won't run well, though it might run better with a Superchips tune. You'll need the PCM programmed, also 03's only have one cat, 04+ has two, so unless you write the O2 sensors out completely (as well as the EGR, 04+ also has that, though 2500 might not) you'll have CEL for a few things.

You have more tunability, last I heard Jay likes to grind custom cams that work well with a Superchips tune in 03's.

Regardless, only one way to find out LOL...one word of warning, not sure how this will affect an 05 PCM in your 03, but Diablo Predators have been well known to frag 03 PCM's and ABS modules for no apparent reason. PCM swap is on my list of things to do that I haven't gotten around to yet because I keep moving around (can't wait to retire) so I guess eventually I'll find out.
