I think traction (lack of) would be the only reason you may not get into the 13's. If you get DRs or slicks you will be in 13s easy.

Yeah well, we'll see.... I want some DR's but at the moment the cost doesn't out way the number of times I would use them. Besides I want to see what it will do in full street trim, after I figure out how to launch it without spinning to much. Its gonna be fun :D

The key is street trim there. If you ever notice the fastest of the fast are normaly stripped interiors and stripped everything else. Most people can pick up 5 tenths stripping everything like they do. My 6.1 regring was 15 flat in heat with the hitch and everything inside the truck. Street trim you will be 14.2-14.0 my guess maybe faster.

If your season is long enough do a street trim night then another night go for broke with everything stripped.

Nah, if I do anything I will see about getting some DR's and do a run with and without them and see what it does. Stripping it down to get a faster run in just isn't something I want to do. But the season runs good from what November through April so plenty of time.

all I got is my 5.4x 0-60 time from last year to go off of, so if I am at that or better after the install I'll be good cause the best I can squeeze right now is about 5.5 0-60 and a 14.63 1/4

I got my fingers and toes crossed... Should be fine though, just those what if's and freak how did that happen that has me slightly spooked. But I have full confidence in the guy thats going to be doing it (I'll help where I can but this would be my first on a hemi and first on a newer engine, done a few on my old 76 chevy and my friends fairmont but that was years ago), plus we'll be in a shop that has virtually everything you can think of with a couple guys I would gladly trust working on my truck, and I should have a good tune down for it as well. So if something does go bad, I got the people there that have been there before and know what and how to fix it should the situation arise.

Take it slow and go peice by peice. Best thing to do is have 2 magnit trays... one for body parts and radiator ect and the other strictly for the motor. Make sure you note the different bolts on the front cover also plus the hidden boll on the ac compressor. Whens the install day again I forgot.

Install is next weekend, the 13th. I will be helping but with this I am taking it to one of the guys around here that has done plenty of them before so I am pretty sure he knows what he is doing. If this wasn't my daily driver and I could take my time and fix any hickups if any popped up and had a backup vehicle just incase I would do it myself but its been to long since I have done one, the last one I did was on a 76' chevy with a rebuilt 350 crate engine and that was probably 7-8yrs ago... I miss that thing...

Chris, the guy doin his install has done a ton of rams and lx's.... he came out here and and taught me how to do them and i've done over 25 installs thus far, he's also one of the very few authorized installers for Inertia...so I think he could do this blindfolded with his hands tied behind his back ;0)
