Issues with factory backup camera

Has anybody else experienced issues with their backup camera? I have a 14 Ram with lens in the tailgate handle, and usually it works fine at start up and short trips. After driving for a little while, when placed in reverse the backup screen is wavy and un-viewable. After sitting for awhile, it works again. Any suggestions?

I found a TSB that addresses a "Rearview Camera Jitter". If this describes your concern, I would recommend having your local dealership perform this software update:

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
