As far as sub size, that depends on what you want and how much room you have for the box.

That amp has an RMS of 1200 watts at 2ohm. So running either two subs that are 4ohm each or running one sub that is two ohm. You want something that can handle 1200 watts RMS.

Sonic Electronics is a good site, you can filter out from the list what your looking for in a sub.

Sundown makes good subs in my opinion.

You coil use either 2 dual 2 ohm voice coil subs or two single 4 ohm voice coil subs. Or one single 2 ohm sub.

The KX12001 will do 1 ohm, if OVP taken out can do 16v and down to .25 ohm...dis I know :)


Get two DVC 4's, wire for a 1 ohm load.

Take a look at Image Dynamics IDQ series. They do well in smaller air spaces and run in 4 or 2ohm DVC.
