This probably belongs in the "electronics" category but I'm hoping to get a broader audience here. Had a sub and amp installed, was under the dash checking out their work and noticed 3 harnesses not plugged into anything. Anyone know what they are for? I know that nothing was unplugged during install. There isn't anywhere to plug them in to. They seem to all be female ends.

with out any pics ill take a guess and say;

1. large plug with 2 pins = trailer harness for brake controller
2. smaller 2-4 pin = power pedals i believe.
3. small 6 pin = have no clue, also have this left unplugged and mine has every interior option available. i tapped one of these wires for my ignition control wire on my extra wiring for lights

I only have one unused under my dash after checking after reading this and its the 6 pin one previously mentioned. Not sure what it could be used for. Maybe the rear entertainment system. Thats the only option i dont have inside.

Negative, I have that option and still have that open plug.
