I took a chance on a 2007 Hemi quad cab Automatic with the following symptoms:
Shifts out of 1st and 2nd gear at around 2500-2800 when in Drive no matter the throttle load. Does not kick down into these gears. Will start in first gear from a standstill. Will run above 2500 in 3rd gear.
Will rev higher in 1st and 2nd when manually shifted.
Will not go shift into OD.
Will rev to 4,000 or so when in park.
No CEL. No change when cold/hot. No change when battery disconnected/reconnected. Trans fluid looks good. Seems to shift well when it does shift, no slipping.
Have done a lot of reading and seems like Solenoid pack may be a possible culprit. Appreciate any input!
