So I will be installing new stock height coils and a 2.5" spacer and I have seen the 2-3" track bar drop bracket that attaches to the stock bracket on the axle and I concerned with drilling 2- 1/2" holes in the stock bracket to attach the new bracket:3681700201_eef6d1e2

Im worried it will greatly reduce the strength of the original bracket and I don't know if I trust just welding it to the stock bracket with a small wire feed welder

Are there ANY other options for track bar drop brackets other than the 2-3" made by TC that attaches to the stock bracket on the axle???

Thanks guys!

It will be fine just drill and bolt it up no welding on it.

Unless you're putting a longer pitman arm on you want to run an adjustable track bar, not a track bar drop bracket. Dropping the track bar without dropping the drag link will cause bump steer issues because the geometry of the front end will be off.

You will not have bump steer and there is no drop bracket for the frame end thats works with that small of lift.

Talked to tuff country and what they said is that the 2- 1/2" holes shouldn't be an issue because the track bar doesn't have alot of stress/weight on it. He said it just holds the axle evenly between each side of the truck and doesn't have direct load bearing weight on it

What do you guys think?
