Yes but it wouldn't hurt to pop the diff case and verify everything else is still good before you purchase them.

I found a Dana 60 for the front but Id have to put the 4.10 gears in it but I could keep my rear axel because they are stronger right?

Nope you will want a Dana 60 as well. 9.25 sucks. Front is direct bolt in, rear will be a bit more work. You'll have swap the spring perches out.

These are them.. Do they look in good shape to you?

Not bad lookin, still got paint and everything. You'll wanna check the internals though.

So Id be good if I put on the Dana 60 rear and dana 70 front? I don't need to change anything else because of the new axels other than the gears do I?

Dana 60 front will bolt right in. Dana 60-70-80 rears will also all work, 70 and 80 are overkill though. You will need to replace the spring perches on the rear to 3" wide from 2.5" and you may need to get a different drive shaft of the correct length.

not sure why you are looking to dump thousands into axles here..
if you are running 35's for your "daily driver" your stock axles are fine, especially with your 4.10's.

Is it hard to change the 70 rear to 2.5 wide

No you just have to knock the 3" perch off and weld on the 2.5" perch. I'll do some digging and get the measurements and post it up later tonight.

Because if you can make the switch why wouldn't you? Stock axles are $hit. The 2500 axles provide better steering and braking in addition to not chewing through front end parts. It will also allow him to go to much bigger tires down the road if he wishes. If the man wants to make the switch all the power to him.

just wanted to make sure the op knows its not something that he HAS to do and my bet is he could do alot more benificial stuff with the big bucks he would be putting into axles.
since he has the gears ide look into some other upgrades first. the whole axle swap thing came up quick imho
seems like all he wanted to do was turn 35's
im all up for bigger axles though in general :)

He definitely does not have to swap, but it would do nothing but help him for the reasons I stated above. The money saved from not replacing front parts will even out in quick time to the cost of the swap.

Let's see john got all the benefits right so no need for me to yap on that. But I would invest in the far superior diff than invest in the much inferior 44 and 9.25. Put money into the 44 and 9.25 and you will still never get to the same strength as the 60. As for going to the 80 why add all that extra weight yea much heavier than the 60. No matter what the 60 front has bigger and better brakes than the 44 could ever have (bigger tire = bigger brakes). The front 60 can be converted to a part time hub much cheaper that a 44. More opt for lockers for the 60 over the 9.25. Rear 60 is a ff (full floating) much better than any 9.25, no more C clip, no more junk factory lsd. There are much more opt in 8 bolt wheel than in a 5x5.5. Balljoint style in the 94-98 front 60 is of a better design than the other years and the 44.

For the rear Dana S135 FTW lol

Are these the pix u wanted to post John?
