So I picked up this lift kit off a guy, he said it was a 7" skyjacker kit, used, was his Buddys. He swore it was a 7" but as many may know skyjacker nowadays has the 7" long arm kit, which I do not have. I've got to get extended brake line, and two rears shocks but can't figure out what shocks to get, or how to tell for sure what lift kit I have, as he did not know. It's got coil springs for the front, and blocks and leaf springs for the rear.

What I am trying to figure out?
What kit is this, or at least what size
And
What shock to get to accomadate that size.

Front shocks are bilstien 5100's

And it seems I can't upload pics from my phone, but the block measures 5" one side and just under 6 on the other side of the slant. Coils are 22" tall, leafs about 13" tall

Any help is much appreciated

well heres a couple pics.

From what I see it is a 5" lift and you are missing two major parts, the upper control arm brackets for the front diff are not in the foto's. You need those brackets! Rear springs should be Sj part #DR54S =4" lift, front springs will be D50. So any shock for a 5" lift will work, any part number on those 5100's?

Might be a tuff country kit.

F4-BE5-6646-H5 is the shock number on the bilstien 5100's, another question, shackle flip worth worrying about?

5100 Series (BE5-F256-H0) These should work just fine.

And so that would mean I probably have more lift in the front? I am kinda thinking maybe the leafs I got maybe came off a 2500 or something and he put the block with those to add more lift or something. Would a 2500 steering box increase anything? Cause it also came with a steerbox too, and I saw his brothers 1500 as I was leaving and it so ****** sweet, sounded like a complete engine build and it was about 5" up on steels, sounded Soo mean

You might just have a 7" lift there after all. My 7" coils with weight on them are sitting at 19"-20". If I get bored today I will jack mine up and unload one of the coils see what I get for a number. I should have measured all the diff coils springs I have gone through just for reference.

Edit; Hold off on rear shocks, as I have the ones I posted and they are too short.

Edit: Blocks sure look like Sj that comes in the 7" kit.

Not as easy as that, need to figure out how much lift the back will have. The part number I posted will work for 7" of lift. If you have 7" for the front and they kept the rake in the lift then the back will be close to 9" lift. That changes things shock wise and the part number I posted is null and void.

Go to Sj web site and look at 7" kits see what shocks they offer with that kit.
