The block I have definetly is the same block I believe as their 7" kit, I can't find the shocks individually (not in a kit? But they are these (one may be stabilizer)

So what if it is a 7" kit. And I get those shocks, essentially itd be fine even with the lift on as long as I measured to see once it was on and didn't mash, I could still take them off Anf get the right ones

The rear shocks I posted will work from 7"-9" lift.

I do believe it's a 7" like he said, but eventually I want to get just leafs for the back and no block, and also I might end up flippim shackle, getting bigger front coils and a longarm setup, and after awhile I'm going to do Dana 60's and go a little bigger so I could fit about 40's. But for now this is the kit I got for $200 and I'm starting here

$200 for all that was a good deal. 7" lift and short arms is going to ride ruff no matter what shocks you use. You might have front Ds problems as well. From what I see in the foto that trackbar drop bracket is only good for 5" lift so you need to deal with that as well. 7" lift is max for the Y type steering even then it is maxed out. Wiring for the cad needs to be extended so do the vac lines.

You are going to have lots of little things to deal with going 7" and more if you go beyond that.

Going 7" lift you will have problems anyway. Put huge tires such as 37s or higher on these older 1500 trucks you will ALWAYS have problems.....it's exactly why I haven't gone bigger on tires or my suspention.....if I do anything else I'll add a 3" body lift this summer.....that's it tho I hate issues lol

So I picked up this lift kit off a guy, he said it was a 7" skyjacker kit, used, was his Buddys. He swore it was a 7" but as many may know skyjacker nowadays has the 7" long arm kit, which I do not have. I've got to get extended brake line, and two rears shocks but can't figure out what shocks to get, or how to tell for sure what lift kit I have, as he did not know. It's got coil springs for the front, and blocks and leaf springs for the rear.

What I am trying to figure out?
What kit is this, or at least what size
And
What shock to get to accomadate that size.

Front shocks are bilstien 5100's

And it seems I can't upload pics from my phone, but the block measures 5" one side and just under 6 on the other side of the slant. Coils are 22" tall, leafs about 13" tall

Any help is much appreciated

well heres a couple pics.
You should obtain a set of sway bar drop brackets and the track bar drop bracket or an adjustable track bar (those are pricey) before you install it all

I'm going 37 max since 4.56 is biggest gears for Chrysler 9.25, and 7" lift is about what I'm looking for, I have 35's on right now.

You don't need any brackets for the swaybar if you have a 7" lift, you flip it over. Nothing for 5" lift is going to cut it for the trackbar, you need an adjustable trackbar for 5"-7" lift a drop bracket and the stock bar is not going to work at all.

Your best bet is to download any 7" lift kit install pdf and read through it many times look and what you can do and what parts you can make.

You need to think about a xcase indexing ring as well.

so the sway bar is flipped? i found an adjustable track bar and bracket for $300 one for 4.5-8" lift and one for 4-7" lift. im going to get those rear shocks and a steering stabilizer.
im looking at a set of 60% tread BFG AT's for $150 not to far from me that are 35 12.50 16 cause i really need newer rears, and i already have BFG AT"s on. whats this indexing ring you speak of?

For the swaybar you remove it from the truck, turn it upside down, and reinstall it, you will have to move the links to the top side of the diff. By doing this you don't need any brackets at all. I will see if I have pix of this done.

Index ring goes between the xcase and the tranny, it is needed to keep the front ds in working limits.
